In Jesus' short years of ministry, He journeyed from place to place, calling people to Him wherever He went.

Similarly, Eden's Glory is in a season of transition. Over the past several months, we've walked through leadership changes, paused our residential program, and watched our new outreach program bloom.

After months of prayerful consideration and in the spirit of good stewardship, we are selling our current residential home to make way for what God is asking of us next. The new residential season will come in His time, and we are prayerfully planning for what that will look like.

Recently, our staff spent a day praying in and around our residential home. When we gathered afterward to reflect, one of our staff shared that God reminded her of a story from just before residents first moved into this space:

One survivor, Alyssa***, shared that she really wanted to live in a house with a pond. Little did she know, we had just signed paperwork on a new home — complete with a pond in the backyard — that she would see for the first time the very next day.

Our staff member continued, "God wanted us to have this house — full of airy space, lots of windows, land to walk, and a pond — because He knew our residents in this season needed room and greenspace for their healing journey."

God is that lavish. He loved Alyssa enough to know she needed a pond to aid in her healing. And we believe He is no less attentive now: the property He brings next will meet the needs of the survivors who will fill it.

Several staff members shared that God reminded them, in that time of prayer, that Eden's Glory isn't a particular house or space. We — the people doing this work of facilitating hope and healing — make up Eden's Glory, looking to Jesus each step of the way.

Eden's Glory is more than a home. Staff, volunteers, donors, and board members together are the hands and feet of God's ministry here, reaching survivors and offering them the opportunity to heal.
